NEGAUNEE — Negotiations have been practically completed for the engagement here during the week of Aug. 19 of the Dobson World Fair Shows, a carnival attraction, under auspices of the entertainment committee of the Odd Fellows, it was announced yesterday. The Dobson shows, said to be one of the larger carnival attractions, are making their initial visit to this region. Some idea of the size of the carnival may be gained from the fact that none of the former locations used were found large enough to accommodate the many shows and rides. After a survey of the available locations, the advance representatives decided upon a plot of land lying north of Collins addition between the concrete highway M-35 and the Baldwin Kiln road.
