Aug. 8

≤ 5 p.m., report of intoxicated male subject passed out near bike path, moved on, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 5:10 p.m., criminal bench warrant arrest, lodged, incident report, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 5:30 p.m., report of a domestic dispute, verbal argument, 700 block Pioneer Road

≤ 5:52 p.m., landlord/tenant harassment dispute, settled for now, 300 block Alger Street

≤ 6:18 p.m., caller left cellphone in another person’s vehicle who is now refusing to return it, 900 block West Ridge Street

≤ 6:34 p.m., employee requesting assistance getting person to pay fees, all OK, system mix up, fees had already been paid, 2100 block Sugarloaf Avenue

≤ 6:45 p.m., vehicle lockout, opened, 200 block Jackson Street

≤ 7:08 p.m., threats with knife complaint between juveniles, unfounded regarding the knife, on-going juvenile dispute, parents also spoken to, 300 block Whetstone Road

≤ 7:18 p.m., report of a possible domestic disturbance, it was two sisters arguing, one had left prior to patrol arrival, 1800 block Van Evera Avenue

≤ 7:45 p.m., former live-in boyfriend had entered residence and removed some items, officer will conduct follow-up, 1800 block Preserve Drive

≤ 8:50 p.m., report of suspicious vehicle in the area, checked, vehicle was gone on arrival, Pine Street near Arch Street

≤ 9:27 p.m., report of a juvenile that threw a rock at a car, suspect juvenile located, juvenile had thrown a pine cone and not a rock, no damage to vehicle, juvenile and parent spoken too, 900 block West College Avenue

≤ 9:30 p.m., criminal warrant arrest, warrant served, supplemental incident/arrest report, 200 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 9:42 p.m., report of a domestic disturbance, verbal argument, one of the parties to leave for the night, 700 block Pioneer Road

≤ 9:53 p.m., report of pickup truck parked across the roadway blocking traffic, had permit to block roadway for block party, party has ended, will be removed shortly, Prospect Street near Spruce Street

Thursday

≤ 1:30 a.m., loud noise complaint, warned, 200 block North Front Street

≤ 2:33 a.m., report of a suspicious person walking in the area, unable to locate, 300 block West Crescent Street

≤ 10:04 a.m., report of construction workers that are acting unsafely, vehicles reported to be blocking the road, all seemed to be in good standing, vehicle partially on the road, needed to be there for the construction process, all clear, Presque Isle Avenue near West Fair Avenue

≤ 1:32 p.m., car booted for unpaid fines, paid in full, boot removed, 100 block West Spring Street

≤ 1:49 p.m., personal injury accident involving a motorcycle, South Front Street near U.S. 41

≤ 3:03 p.m., report of possible abandoned vehicle, tagged abandoned, 1000 block Spruce Street

≤ 3:38 p.m., hit-and-run property damage accident occurred earlier in the day, Front Street near West Washington Street

≤ 3:43 p.m., report of a younger child who left residence, unknown what direction the child was headed, subject was located, was fine in grandfather’s custody, Brookstone Circle

≤ 4:07 p.m., vehicle blocking driveway, left prior to arrival, 1000 block North Third Street

≤ 4:20 p.m., vehicle blocking driveway, vehicle was gone on arrival, 400 block West Ridge Street

≤ 4:33 p.m., violation of Michigan Public Health Code, report of odor, Whetstone Road

≤ 5:36 p.m., dog bite, 400 block North Third Street

≤ 5:37 p.m., lockout, assistance was no longer needed once officers arrived, 400 block North Third Street

≤ 5:38 p.m., assistance with towing a vehicle, vehicle towed for private parking violation, 200 block West Michigan Street

≤ 5:49 p.m., retail fraud, 1400 block O’Dovero Drive

≤ 6:51 p.m., caller reports several traffic signs have been turned away from the street, possible hazard, signs were put back into place correctly, South Front Street near Spring Street

≤ 7:03 p.m., non-traffic accident, private property damage accident, 1000 block West Washington Street

≤ 7:26 p.m., caller reports wanting some help keeping a subject away from his property, would like the subject trespassed from the property, 300 block East Hewitt Avenue

≤ 8:17 p.m., lockout, opened, 1000 block West Washington Street

≤ 10:19 p.m., traffic signal out, department of public works put up temporary barricades, board of light and power notified to repair, 600 block West Washington Street

≤ 11:11 p.m., non-aggravated assault, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

Friday

≤ 12:22 a.m., caller reports male and female arguing very loudly, Dobson Place

≤3:01 a.m., malicious destruction of property, 100 block West Washington Street

≤ 5:48 a.m., unlawful driving away of automobile, subject doesn’t wish to pursue charges at this time, 500 block Pioneer Road

≤ 5:55 a.m., three vehicles ticked in private lot, 500 block North Third Street

≤ 8:45 a.m., animal control, 100 block South McClellan Avenue

≤ 9:35 a.m., peace officer standby, subject removed belongings, 200 block West Washington Street

≤ 9:42 a.m., ex-girlfriend took truck and did not return it, 200 block Dobson Place

≤ 11:56 a.m., skunk issue, advice given, 1000 block North Second Street

≤ 12:56 p.m., assisted with child custody issue in parking lot, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 6 p.m., caller requests a check on a dog left in a car, owner of animal showed up and all is OK, 100 block East Spring Street

≤ 6:15 p.m., two dogs on the beach, advised of ordinance and warned by park patrol, Lakeshore Boulevard near Hawley Street

≤ 6:25 p.m., dog on the island, advised of ordinance and warned by park patrol, Lakeshore Boulevard near Hawley Street

≤ 6:44 p.m., disorderly customer in business, officer spoke with complainant, customer left prior to arrival, nothing to pursue in the matter, 1400 block West Washington Street
