MARQUETTE --
Guindon Moving & Storage, an interstate agent for national van line Wheaton World Wide Moving as well as partner with Bekins Van Line, has earned another national honor, being named Wheaton World Wide Moving's Agent of the Month for September.
The recognition marks the fourth time the company has received the monthly award, adding to a growing list of honors for the family-owned Upper Peninsula moving company.
"Winning our fourth agent of the month award, in addition to a large number of Spire awards, demonstrates how customer-focused our team is at Guindon Moving," Guindon President Scott Jensen said in a written statement. "I am proud of all our team members for continuing to offer our customers a quality moving experience."
The latest award adds to Guindon's record of recognition for customer service and moving quality. The company has received multiple Spire Quality Awards every year from 2019 through 2025 and has earned nine Spire Quality Awards since 2019.
In 2025, Guindon's Negaunee location ranked among the top five Spire award winners, while its Escanaba location ranked among the top 10. The Spire and Agent of the Month programs recognize moving agents using a combination of customer feedback and quality indicators tracked throughout the moving process.
Guindon is the largest local moving company in the Upper Peninsula. In 2023, readers of The Escanaba Daily Press selected the company as the Best of the Best Moving Company. Guindon also holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and is certified by the National Association of Specialty Move Managers.
Founded in 1941, Guindon remains family-owned and operated and has served communities throughout the Upper Peninsula for more than 85 years. The company has offices in Escanaba, Negaunee and Marquette and serves customers throughout the U.P. and northern Wisconsin.
Its services include local, residential and long-distance moving, as well as packing and warehouse storage. Guindon is a member of the Michigan Movers Association and the Preferred Movers Network.
