IRON MOUNTAIN -- Veterans of the U.S. armed forces will have an opportunity to receive free dental care during the Dentistry for Our Vets event scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, at the John Fornetti Dental Center in Iron Mountain.
The event will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Central Standard Time at the dental center, located at 100 S. Stephenson Ave.
The one-day event will provide eligible veterans with their choice of one free dental service: a cleaning, filling or extraction.
Services will be available on a walk-in basis only, with patients served on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments are indicated for the event.
The Dentistry for Our Vets program aims to provide members of the armed forces community with access to dental care at no cost for one of the three listed services.
Veterans interested in participating are encouraged to arrive early, as services are limited to the event hours and patients will be seen in the order they arrive.
