ESCANABA - Announcing the Bay College and LSSU Regional Center Business Professionals of America's annual Warm Coats for Warm Hearts campaign, which collects coats for those in need in Delta County. This student-driven event runs for two weeks and started Monday and will finish Friday, Oct. 23.

Collection boxes are located throughout Delta County at the following participating businesses: Elmer's County Market, Grace Church (Gladstone), Massie’s Country Market (Bark River), Northern Lights YMCA and the Bay College Escanaba campus in the HUB.

At the end of the two weeks, these coats will be distributed to the Tri-County Safe Harbor and Salvation Army. Any size coat or other winter gear (scarves, gloves, hats, snow pants) is welcome, from infant to adult. While new items are preferred, lightly used items are appreciated.
