MARQUETTE -- American Legion Post 44 will host a fish fry Friday, Oct. 9, offering a selection of seafood and other meals to the public.
The event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 44, which is located at 700 W. Bluff St., in Marquette.
The menu will include whitefish, cod, shrimp and chicken strips. Diners can choose between a baked potato or french fries and all meals will include coleslaw.
Takeout orders can be called in beginning at 3:30 p.m. at 906-225-0781, with pickup times beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The fish fry is open to the public and community members are invited to stop by for dinner or place a takeout order.
