College Fair Sept. 14-15, at Bay College

ESCANABA - In partnership with the Michigan College Fairs Committee, Michigan Association for College Admissions Counseling and Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Bay College will host the return of Stay Local, Go Far! college fair.

Over 35 colleges, universities, military services and trade schools will be on both the Escanaba and Iron Mountain Campuses.

The first college night kicks off on Monday, Sept. 14 at the Bay College Escanaba campus in the Besse Center Galleries. Matters continue Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Bay College Iron Mountain campus in the Lower Commons. Both events are from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. local time.

Stay Local, Go Far! is an opportunity to meet with representatives from participating institutions to learn about the programs and services they offer - all right here in our backyard. Whether you're a high school student, currently enrolled as a college student, or simply curious about post-secondary education or trade options, this is a chance to see what's out there and get your questions answered.

Attendees should register ahead of time. Registration is now open. It’s free and open to the public. Attendees can register in three easy steps:

1. Find Bay College's fairs in this list: https://www.michigancollegefairs.org/students and select Student Registration.

2. Create a profile with StriveScan.

3. Select Sign-up.

Attendees will receive a confirmation barcode sent to their email. This barcode will be scanned at the check-in upon arrival. You can find additional resources here: https://www.michigancollegefairs.org/students.
