ISHPEMING -- Snow Day Fibers celebrated its opening in downtown Ishpeming with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, in partnership with the Lake Superior Community Partnership.
Owned by Kimmie Conrad, Snow Day Fibers is located at 200 E. Division St., Ishpeming, and offers a welcoming space for fiber artists and crafters of all experience levels. The shop carries a variety of yarn, notions and fiber tools, while creating a place where people can slow down, get creative and connect with others who share a passion for fiber arts.
Snow Day Fibers offers a variety of classes, workshops, and community gatherings, including open crafting and fiber circle events.
