ISHPEMING -- West end motorists should be aware of a key road closure that is starting today.
The Marquette County Road Commission, along with MJ VanDamme, Inc., will be closing Marquette County Road CD in Ely Township approximately 0.80 miles west of Marquette County Road 581 at its crossing with Green Creek
The reason for the closure is replacement of a culvert, road commission officials confirmed.
This closure will begin today and will remain in place until Oct. 12. Motorists will need to use the signed detour route.
