Mugsy’s Corner marks grand opening, ribbon-cutting

MARQUETTE -- The Lake Superior Community Partnership and Accelerate UP assisted Mugsy’s Corner in celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Aug. 7.

Mugsy’s Corner is a family-owned food truck serving handcrafted sandwiches, pierogi, and signature sauces made fresh. Guided by its slogan, “Eat Happy. Run Wild,” the business brings new flavors to traditional favorites while bringing the comfort of home to your next adventure.

“Opening Mugsy’s Corner has been a dream come true for our family. We’re excited to share our passion for great food with the community,” said owner Donna Waliamaa. “Our goal is to create fresh, handcrafted meals that people look forward to enjoying wherever they find us.”

Mugsy’s Corner operates as a mobile food truck, allowing customers to enjoy its menu at locations throughout the area. You can follow the business on social media to find its next stop. Online food ordering will be available soon, and branded merchandise is currently available through their website.
