Zach Heikkila has been chosen Employee of the Quarter at the Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti in Marquette.
Home officials said Heikkila has been a dedicated member of the Jacobetti team for six years and currently serves as a resident care aid.
"Zach exemplifies what it means to provide exceptional care and service. He consistently gives 100% to
his job, always putting needs of our veterans and their families first. Zach has a remarkable ability
to connect with our veterans, especially those living with dementia and Alzheimer disease.
His patience, understanding and genuine kindness create meaningful relationships that provide comfort
and reassurance to both residents and there families. He is always willing to step in and help
