ESCANABA - Community members of all ages are invited to attend Be Well Bash 2026, a free wellness resource fair designed to promote health, mental wellness, and community connection on from 4-7 p.m. ED TWednesday, Sept. 23, at the Joseph Heirman University Center on Bay College’s Escanaba campus.
Hosted through a partnership between Delta-Schoolcraft ISD, Escanaba Area Schools Student Services, and Bay College, the event will bring together local organizations, educators, healthcare providers, and community agencies dedicated to supporting the well-being of individuals and families throughout Delta and Schoolcraft counties.
Be Well Bash aims to increase awareness of local services while creating opportunities for families to discover resources that support physical health, mental health, social-emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
Attendees can enjoy wellness activities, connect with local organizations and service providers, explore programs designed to support students and families, and enjoy food catered by Wiles Food Services.
Organizations that provide services related to health, wellness, mental health, education, family support, recreation, nutrition, or other community resources are encouraged to participate as vendors. The event offers an excellent opportunity to connect directly with community members, share information about available services, and collaborate with other organizations working to improve the health and well-being of the region.
“While no one organization can meet every need, together we can create a community where people know where to turn for support and resources when they need them," said Kristy Alimenti, Ed.S., Mental Health Services & Systems Coordinator for the Delta-Schoolcraft Intermediate School District. "We are thrilled to partner with Bay College to bring the Be Well Bash to our community and connect students and families with the incredible health, wellness, and support resources available right here in our region. …”
Vendor registration is open through Sept. 1. Organizations interested in reserving a table should contact Alimenti for registration information and event details. Participating vendors will receive confirmation of their participation by Sept. 8.
Community members are encouraged to attend this free event and discover the many organizations working together to build a healthier, stronger, and more resilient community. Attendees will enjoy a free dinner catered by Wiles Food Services.
