MARQUETTE -- Northern Michigan University's summer enrollment of nearly 1,900 students includes 373 students who are commuting from outside Marquette, Louis Myefski, NMU housing director reports. The total number of students living off campus, in housing other than university residence hall or apartments is 1,174. Off-campus students include 524 graduates and 650 undergraduates.

MARQUETTE - Announcement of the sale of the Knights of Pythian Hall, on Third Street, to A.C. McKinnon, proprietor of the Northland Beauty Supply Company was made yesterday by E.R. Tauch, owner of the building. The amount involved was not made public.
