MARQUETTE – Marquette County will study how much it would cost to pay probate court workers for being on call at night and on the weekends. The in-house review was ordered by the Marquette County Board’s Committee of the Whole Tuesday after four unionized probation officers and two non-union supervisors asked for compensation.

MARQUETTE – Unemployment in the eastern half of Marquette County was up slightly in June over May totals, but was much lower than in June last year. According to Frank B.
