GWINN- Some 300 Gwinn residents were evacuated from their homes Tuesday evening after a man told police he’d wired a bomb to explode in his downtown apartment. A state police bomb squad from Grayling entered the building at 111 North Pine Street at about 2:30 a.m. but did not find an explosive device. There was nothing other than a string in a doorway placed to make it look like a possible bomb.
