MARQUETTE -- Senya’s Lighthouse is proud to announce the launch of its new website, podcast, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn presence, creating new ways for families, supporters, healthcare partners and the community to connect with its mission.
Founded in the Upper Peninsula, Senya’s Lighthouse exists to walk alongside families navigating pediatric cancer and serious blood disorders in rural communities by providing guidance, advocacy, community and restorative support.
“We hope these platforms become a place where families feel seen, our community stays connected, and more people learn about the unique challenges facing children with cancer in rural Michigan,” said Erica Smith, founder of Senya’s Lighthouse.
The organization has also submitted its application for federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Pending approval, donations made during the application process may become tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
The new online platforms will share family resources, organization updates, volunteer opportunities, community partnerships, and ways for the community to support families who often travel hundreds of miles for specialized pediatric care.
Community members are invited to explore the new website, follow Senya’s Lighthouse on their social media platforms, give the Podcast a listen and join in building a network of hope for families across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and beyond.
