ESCANABA – First Bank, Upper Michigan, has announced the promotion of Alex DeHaan to assistant vice president and trust officer within the Investment Management Group. This promotion reflects DeHaan's nearly nine years of dedication and expertise in providing service to clients.
Starting his career at First Bank in September 2017 as a financial advisor, Alex obtained his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and built client relationships over six years. In January 2024, he became a trust and investment officer.
On July 15, he was promoted to assistant vice president while continuing his role as a trust and investment officer.
“Alex’s knowledge and focus on client service have made significant contributions to our team and clients’ financial success,” said Ben Zyburt, Investment Management Group manager.
As Alex approaches his ninth anniversary at First Bank, he is prepared to excel in his new leadership role, continuing to provide trust and investment advisory services.
