MARQUETTE -- The Central U.P. Small Business Support Hub is coordinating with the Lake Superior Community Partnership to offer four economic impact studies using IMPLAN’s industry-leading economic analysis software, at no cost to those selected.
Economic impact studies are powerful tools for demonstrating the value of a business, event, or venue to the broader regional economy. Whether you’re seeking grant funding, making a case to local officials, attracting investors, or simply better understanding your footprint, an IMPLAN-powered report gives you credible, data-backed numbers to tell your story.
• Who should apply?
This opportunity is open to all Hub participating businesses and partners and is best suited for businesses, anchor employers, signature community events, or venues with a meaningful economic presence in the central Upper Peninsula region.
• What do selected applicants receive?
Those chosen will work directly with LSCP staff to provide the necessary data inputs and receive a full economic impact report analyzing outputs such as jobs supported, labor income, and total economic output generated by your business, community, event or venue.
• Why only four?
These studies require significant time and attention to complete. To ensure quality, we’re limiting this round to four recipients. We encourage any interested Hub participant to apply.
Please submit by 5 p.m. EST, Wednesday, July 22. The Hub will notify applicants of their status by Friday, July 24.
