Up close and personal

The Negaunee Public Library is hosting the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for a workshop with live animals at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29. Participants can learn how to express the wonders of science through images and drawing. By meeting live animals up close, the AAHOM education staff will guide visitors as they learn simple sketching techniques to create works of art based on the animals they meet. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a caring adult. Older youth who are unaccompanied must be able to provide a caring adult’s phone number in case of emergency. This event is free. For more information, visit the library's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NegauneePublicLibrary/ or call 906-475-7700 extension 18.
