GWINN — Nominating petition forms are available at the Forsyth, Sands, Skandia and West Branch township offices as well as the Marquette County Clerk’s Office for three (3) positions on the Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education.

The vacancies are as follows: Three (3) terms of six (6) years beginning Jan. 1, 2027 and ending Dec. 31, 2032.

An affidavit of identity and completed petition form(s) must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, to the respective township office or Marquette County Clerk. At least six (6) valid elector signatures are required (maximum of 20) and each petition form must contain signatures from one (1) township only.

A $100 non-refundable filing fee may be filed in lieu of a petition.

The school election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
