LWV session on primary coming up

MARQUETTE — The League of Women Voters of Marquette County, a nonpartisan organization that encourages informed, active participation in government while working to increase understanding of policy issues and public policy through education and advocacy, invites all citizens to a free event at 6:30 p.m. July 25 at the Women’s Federated Clubhouse, 104 W. Ridge St., in Marquette. Mark Brewer, a long-time election consultant and lawyer, will speak on Challenges in Michigan Elections 2026. 

Brewer has been the litigator for the League of Women Voters of Michigan in the past and continues as a vigilant observer and commentator on the state of election law and security in Michigan. His presentation will be preceded by a brief review of What’s on Your Ballot in the August Primary Election? by a member of the Voter Services Committee of LWVMC.
