Double Trouble Entertainment announces “America’s Birthday Bash” in downtown Marquette

MARQUETTE — Double Trouble Entertainment & Embers Credit Union are proud to announce, “America’s Birthday Bash,” a free, community-focused downtown celebration taking place July 3 and 4 on the 100 block of West Washington Street in downtown Marquette.

Created in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the event is designed to bring the community together while creating a safe, welcoming and accessible downtown space for residents and visitors to enjoy local businesses, entertainment and festivities throughout the holiday weekend.

The celebration will feature yard games, seating areas and participation from local businesses, including DIGS, which will be serving food inside and outside their place of business.

A major highlight of the event will take place on July 3, following the fireworks display at Lower Harbor. Beginning around 10:30 p.m., attendees are invited to continue the celebration downtown with a live DJ performance hosted by Double Trouble Entertainment. The evening will culminate with a special midnight ball drop to officially ring in America’s birthday.

“We wanted to create something that celebrates both our country’s milestone birthday and the incredible sense of community we have downtown,” said Ross Johnson, general manager of Double Trouble Entertainment. “This event is about giving people a fun, safe place to gather, support local businesses, and celebrate together.”

The event is free and open to the public.

America’s Birthday Bash is presented by title sponsor Embers Credit Union. For additional event updates and information, visit the Double Trouble Entertainment on Facebook and Instagram.

Starting at $4.00/week.
