Author Bradley to read poetry from latest work
MARQUETTE — Local author B.G. Bradley will read from his new collection of poetry, “North Words:A Year in Poetry,” in the Peter White Public Library Community Room at 6:30 p.m. June 18.
The work includes a poem for every day in the year and includes poems ranging from formal Elizabethan sonnets to avant garde found poetry and thematically covers many aspects of life in the Upper Peninsula. Bradley will read poems from throughout the work and will also read from his upcoming noir novel, “Shadows of the North.”
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to share these poems about our native region thanks to the Peter White (Public) Library,” said Bradley.
Autographed copies will be available on site.
