Zero Degrees showing Oman work
MARQUETTE — As part of its Guest Artist Program, the Zero Degrees Art Gallery is showing the work of Kate Oman.
Zero Degrees is located at 525 N. Third St., in Marquette and is honored to have Oman as its May Guest Artist. Oman is well known in the Upper Peninsula Art Community as the gallery director of the William C. Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba. She works in photography, painting, jewelry and other media and will be showing samples of her work for viewing and for sale through the month of May.
Zero Degrees will have a free, public reception for her from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Light refreshments will be available. This will be a good time to meet the artist and see her artwork, as well as the work of the 42 Zero Degrees member artists.
