MARQUETTE — Business growth in Greater Marquette is reshuffling spaces to meet changing needs. Mount Manufacturing is expanding into the former Best Buy space in Marquette Township, marking another growth step for the company and its footprint in the local manufacturing sector.

The move opened the door for Cherry Creek Construction to take over Mount Manufacturing’s current building, a shift approved by the Marquette Township Planning Commission. The Mount Manufacturing transition is taking place due to the company’s continued growth and the need for more room to support operations.

Similarly for Cherry Creek Construction, their move into Mount Manufacturing’s old location will expand space and allow for potentially new service offerings such as in-house design services. For both companies, the moves also put existing commercial space back to work in the region.
