MARQUETTE — Tourist Park will be closed to all traffic for storm clean up beginning today until clean-up is complete.

Forestry crews will be removing significant tree fall and tree damage in the park and wooded area adjacent to the park to the south and west. Heavy equipment will be present. For public safety please do not enter any part of the park. No foot traffic, bicycle traffic nor vehicular traffic is allowed in the camping area or day use area. Both vehicle entrances will be barricaded to all traffic.

The 906 Bicycle Playground and NTN connector trail will also be closed as work will be occurring in these areas.

This coincides with closure of the Tourist Park seasonal off-leash dog park. 
An additional public service announcement will be released with work is complete and 
the walking and driving areas are safe to reopen.
