Portage Lake Lift Bridge lane closures for bridge washing June 1-4

HOUGHTON ­- Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation will perform routine bridge washing on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge between the cities of Houghton and Hancock from June 1-4. These cleaning operations will require lane closures.

Motorists should expect intermittent lanes closures on the bridge between 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. each day.
