Marquette Public Art Commission activities noted
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Public Art Commission has moved all remaining 2026 meetings to city commission chambers at Marquette City Hall, 300 W. Baraga Ave. Meetings will still be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
2026 remaining meeting dates:
• Special meeting: May 28
• June 10
• July 8
• Aug. 12
• Sept. 9
• Oct. 14
• Nov. 11
• Dec. 9
A special meeting will also take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, to discuss current public art projects. There are two options for public participation for the special meeting: in-person or written. There will be two public comment periods for the meeting, one near the beginning of the agenda and one at the end.
Comments are limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address before speaking. Written comments will be presented to the board during the meeting and can be submitted by emailing tmorin@marquettemi.gov. Written submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
