2026 Kiwanis Community grant applications out

MARQUETTE — The Kiwanis Club of Marquette is now accepting applications for its annual community grant program, with funding made possible through the club’s signature fundraiser, the Kiwanis Chicken Barbecue (https://KiwanisBBQ.eventbrite.com).

Each year, proceeds from the long-running chicken barbecue are reinvested directly into the Marquette community through grants that support local nonprofit organizations, programs, and initiatives. While Kiwanis has a strong focus on youth and youth-serving programs, funding is available to any organization working to improve the quality of life in the Marquette area.

“Our goal is simple — to give back to the community that supports us,” said Nick Emmendorfer, club president. “Thanks to the success of the chicken barbecue, we’re able to provide meaningful support to organizations doing important work locally.”

Grant applications are now open and will be accepted through June 15. Organizations interested in applying can access the application here: https://form.jotform.com/261105983649162

For questions about the grant process, please contact Emmendorfer dorf4492@gmail.com

Starting at $3.23/week.
