HARRIS — Bonkerz Comedy Productions will present comedian Dusty Slay, bringing his “We’re having a good time” attitude and signature wave to the Island Resort & Casino on Saturday, Sept. 19. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. ET Friday, April 3.

You can take the boy out of the trailer park, but you can’t take the trailer park out of the boy–

and Alabama native Dusty Slay proves it with every laugh. Known for his laid-back delivery and

instantly recognizable style–complete with trucker hat, long hair, mustache, flannel shirt, and

oversized glasses–Slay brings audiences into his world with stories rooted in his trailer park

upbringing, the hilarious nuances of hourly shift work and the amusing idiosyncrasies of

everyday life.

After earning acclaim in Nashville, he became the youngest comedian at the time to perform on

the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage and has since made dozens of appearances there.

He has also appeared six times on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was featured

on The Stand Ups (Season 3). In January 2024, he released his first one-hour Netflix special,

“Workin’ Man.”
