ISHPEMING — The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will be meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the Cliff Shaft Mining Museum, 501 W. Euclid St., in Ishpeming.

This is an opportunity to purchase beautiful, unique specimens at a reasonable price, with proceeds going to support the club with its ongoing projects. If you want to enhance your collection or help a child start or add to their collection, this is the place to be on Sunday afternoon.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. to allow members and visitors time to observe the first silent auction specimens and to view the club’s mineral collection and fluorescent display. Auction tables will start closing at 1:30 p.m. promptly.

A door prize drawing, a 50/50 drawing and a business meeting will follow the program.

Everyone is welcome to attend, enjoy, and learn about the wonders of rocks and minerals. There is no admission fee.
