MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Opioid Task Force have released an opportunity to apply for mini grant awards with opioid settlement funds received by Marquette County. Awards range from $250 – $2,500 and will be reviewed on a quarterly basis while funds are available.

MCOTF is a multidisciplinary, collaborative committee that advocates for the use of local opioid settlement monies to fund impactful strategies that aim to address and support individuals and communities affected by the harms of the opioid epidemic.

The next opportunity to apply will close at the end of June. Eligible agencies include non-profit organizations, community-based organizations and tribal agencies serving Marquette County residents. Proposals should focus on harm reduction, treatment, prevention, and/or recovery initiatives.
