LWV session announced
MARQUETTE — The League of Women Voters of Marquette County, a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy, will hold its next general membership meeting at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.
Social time begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in Room 309, Olson Library, Elizabeth & Edgar Harden Hall on the Northern Michigan University campus. A panel led by NMU’s Sustainability Hub for Innovation and Environment will discuss the impact of climate change on the Great Lakes Region.
