Bay Mills Community College breaks ground on new Allied Health facility
BRIMLEY — Bay Mills Community College has announced plans for a new 36,000 square-foot Allied Health Facility, designed to help address healthcare workforce shortages across the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
Construction is scheduled to begin in May with doors expected to open in Fall 2027 on BMCC’s main campus in Bay Mills. The project will include a nursing simulation lab and an EMT lab to support training, along with expanded student resources like an updated library, academic offices and a full-service cafeteria.
Leaders say the facility is about building opportunity for students and strengthening the region’s capacity to care for its communities.
