ISHPEMING – The Marquette County Road Commission will scale back the number of employees working overnight shifts and now collect interest on fees it charges townships for work to balance its 1996 budget.

MARQUETTE — A Learning Resource Center scheduled to be under construction at Northern Michigan University this spring will include a library with a capacity for 300,000 volumes. State Senator Joseph S. Mack (D-Ironwood) vice chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and State Rep. Dominic Jacobetti, D-Negaunee, associate speaker, said construction of the $5,500,00 building is scheduled for completion in 1968.
