MARQUETTE – The acclaimed classical group the Juilliard String quartet will perform at the Kaufman Auditorium on February 15 as part of the Northern Michigan University Cultural Events Series. In the four and and a half decades since its inaugural concert, the quartet has established and maintained a reputation as history’s great string quartets.

MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will sponsor its 12th annual Northern Michigan Science Fair Saturday, April 2. The fair which will be held in the gymnasium of the C.B. Hedgcock Health and Physical Education Building is designed to give Upper Peninsula boys and girls in grades seven through 12 the opportunity to display their latest achievements in the field of science. The fair will be affiliated with the International Science Fair which permits the top winners to submit their projects in international competition at Dallas, Texas.
