Marquette County seeks community input on master plan update

MARQUETTE — Marquette County is currently undergoing its 5-year Master Plan update and is calling on residents across the county to share their input in a short online survey.

The master plan is an official policy document that guides how the county grows and functions, covering topics such as land use, housing, transportation, recreation, tourism, and more. Local governments, businesses and nonprofits utilize the master plan to make strategic decisions and secure funding that benefits the local community.

Community input is essential to ensure that the updated plan accurately reflects the needs, values and priorities of Marquette County residents. All community members are encouraged to participate in the survey, including students and short-term residents.

While the emphasis is on long-term county residents, perspectives from all residents add valuable insight.

The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZQB6W37

Starting at $3.23/week.
