ISHPEMING — The NICE board, meeting in special session Tuesday, asked for more, options as to exactly where to situate the new kindergarten through eighth grade school building on a 40-arce district-owned tract near the existing Westwood High School. Bob Paullin, the project consultant from Grand Rapids, will meet with the design team to develop a few more possibilities. The bidding process is expected to begin in late February with groundbreaking planned by June. The new school is expected to open to students in September 1997.

MARQUETTE — Hailed as an aid to public education and designed to describe the “machinery” of the Federal Reserve bank’s operation, the motion picture, “Back of Banks in Business,” will be shown in Marquette and Alger counties next week under sponsorship of the Marquette-Alger Bank federation, cooperating with officials of the Ninth district bank, of Minneapolis. Under present plans the film will be shown Monday, January 20, in the Northern State Teachers college assembly at 9:55 a.m.: before the Rotary club at noon; in the Graveraet high school auditorium at 2 p.m.: and probably before other school groups and civic organizations of the city. The public has been invited to attend the showing in the N.S.T.C. assembly
