MARQUETTE — From 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, at the Marquette Commons, located at 112 S. Third Street, Marquette, voices and hearts will be lifted in remembrance of the disappeared, the unlawfully detained and Renee Nicole Good. 

Lake Superior Region Indivisible is hosting this event. Music, speakers and meditation will illuminate the mid-winter darkness. Candles will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own. The event will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will take place outdoors. Please dress warmly and take extra care, as it may be icy. Warm beverages, snacks, an information table, a fireplace and restrooms will be available in the adjoining Commons Plaza Room. City parking will be free at all metered sites beginning at 6 p.m.
