NPS offering sensory-friendly playtime
NEGAUNEE — The Negaunee Public Library is offering a sensory-friendly playtime at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2. The theme this month is “colors.”
This one-hour, drop-in play session is designed to stimulate a child’s senses and foster cognitive development. There will be activity stations that may include tactile bins, sensory bottles, sound and movement exploration, and early reading and language activities.
This is an opportunity for toddlers and older children to safely explore their environment in a fun and engaging way, while parents and caregivers connect and share tips and experiences. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a caring adult.
For more information, visit the library’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NegauneePublicLibrary/ or call 906-475-7700 ext.18.
