Athena Global Learning marks grand opening with ribbon-cutting

MARQUETTE — Athena Global Learning celebrated its official launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, hosted in partnership with the Lake Superior Community Partnership.

Athena Global Learning is an education and workforce development company founded by Dr. Athena Stanley, a Marquette native and former assistant professor at Northern Michigan University. AGL provides AI literacy and ethics training, high-quality tutoring for learners in grades two through adult, Business English and professional communication coaching and instructional design services for organizations.

“Athena Global Learning was created to make high-quality education accessible, personal, and empowering,” said Dr. Stanley. “As AI reshapes the way we learn and work, I’m honored to help students, families, and professionals in my hometown build the skills, confidence, and ethical understanding they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.”
