HANCOCK — The Copper Country Intermediate School District has announced that the following schools have elected to participate in Schools of Choice in an unlimited capacity during the second semester of the 2025-26 school year:

Adams, Baraga, Public Schools of CLK, Chassell, Elm River, Grant, Hancock, Lake Linden-Hubbell, Stanton and L’Anse school districts.

Houghton – Portage Township Schools will be closed to grades Y5, 8 and 12, and will be limited to grades K-7 and 9-11.

Arvon will be closed to Schools of Choice for grades K-8.

Applications can be obtained from the superintendent’s office in each district. Applications and acceptance must be completed no later than the end of the first week of the second semester. These dates may vary by district.
