MDOT director appointed to ITS America board
MARQUETTE — The Intelligent Transportation Society of America announced State Transportation Director Bradley C. Wieferich has been appointed to the ITS America Board of Directors effective January.
In this role, Wieferich will work alongside other board directors to align safety and innovation, improving mobility and transportation systems for all road users. Michigan is already aligned as a leader in innovative transportation, including piloting connected and autonomous vehicle technology on public roads.
