Local author publishes book
MARQUETTE — Local artist, athlete and author Megan Strom has released her debut children’s book, “Greta Scores Big,” a tale about courage, teamwork and embracing one’s strengths. Strom, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, wrote and illustrated the book while recovering from surgery earlier this year. The story follows Greta, a groundhog who joins a hockey team despite not being the fastest or strongest player.
Greta’s journey teaches children valuable lessons about perseverance and finding their own unique talents. This marks a significant milestone in Strom’s career, showcasing her talent and resilience as an artist and storyteller.
