HANCOCK — The Finlandia Foundation National Lake Superior chapter will present its annual Finland’s Independence Day and pikkujoulu celebration from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, at the Messiah Lutheran Church community room.

Activities will include some short talks, musical entertainment by Oscar Forsman with his accordion, Tanya Stanaway singing and the musical group Granny Fox and the Farmhands. There will also be the usual coffee and goodies with a lot of socialization, plus some door prizes.

There is no charge to attend this event and the public is invited. Organizers are collecting items for the food bank so donations are welcomed.
