L’ANSE — Baraga County Trails in Motion has reorganized with a clear mission: To establish and maintain hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails in Baraga County.

As the midpoint between the outdoor hubs of the Copper Country and Marquette, it’s area that has long lacked public multi-use trails. That’s about to change. The goal is to create trails that connect travelers between these epicenters and offer fresh opportunities for local residents to explore and enjoy the beauty of Baraga County in every season.

Join them for their membership drive from noon-6 p.m. Saturday at the Baraga County Chamber of Commerce offices, located at 1 N. Main St., L’Anse.
