L’ANSE — The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to share its holiday spirit and passion for decorating by participating in the Holiday Decor Tour.

The chamber is creating a festive map highlighting homes, businesses, and other sites across Baraga County that feature outdoor Christmas displays. There is no fee to participate. Complimentary maps will be available to the public so everyone can enjoy the displays.

All sites listed on the map will be entered into drawings for Baraga Bucks. This is not a contest; every display, whether big or small, will be included in the drawings.

To be part of the tour, displays must be lighted and visible from 6-9 p.m., Dec. 14-Jan. 1.

“The holiday decor map debuted in 2024, and the response was truly overwhelming. Community members stopped by the chamber office to share how much joy the tour brought them. One story that touched us deeply came from a resident who picked up her mother from the nursing home and spent the evening driving around Baraga County, visiting the decorated sites on the map. It turned into a wonderful outing filled with holiday spirit,” said chamber spokesperson Mary Mervar. “With the generosity of our sponsors, village of Baraga and Baraga County Federal Credit Union, we are pleased to bring that joy back again this year and encourage everyone to sign up to be part of the map.”
