MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Police & Firefighters’ Fund has announced that grant applications are now open for registered non-profit organizations serving communities throughout Marquette County.

This annual grant initiative is part of the fund’s ongoing mission to support local programs, charitable services and community efforts that uplift and strengthen the region.

Here are grant details and requirements:

• Five (5) grants available, each in the amount of $1,500

• No partial awards will be issued

• Applicant must be a registered non-profit organization

• Applications may be submitted via email or mail

• Deadline: Dec. 15

• Mailed applications must be postmarked by Dec. 15

• Organizations must include a current W-9 with their application
