MARQUETTE – Out of Milwaukee comes the latest development in merchandise containers–a can for beer–through the cooperation of Pabst and the American Can Company. The beer, Pabst Export, was distributed yesterday by Chalmers & Burns, of Marquette, Pabst distributors for Marquette and Baraga counties, following the introduction of the canned beer here by A.F. Fisher, district salesman, assisted by H. Halverson. Each can is lined with a substance which the can company and the brewing company worked for more than three years. Also, specially designed, was a new can opener to puncture the can in such a way that the beer may be drunk from the can or poured into a stein.
