Rainy Creek Construction supports Habitat

MARQUETTE — Marquette County Habitat for Humanity has continued a partnership with Rainy Creek Construction and GAF, one of the nation’s leading roofing manufacturers, to provide a new roof–completely free of charge–for its latest home build in Marquette.

Rainy Creek Construction, a certified GAF Master Elite Contractor, donated all of their labor for the project, while GAF contributed the roofing materials. The roof installation was completed in early October 2025 at the build site located at 363 and 365 W Fairbanks St in Marquette.

As material costs continue to rise, in-kind donations like this play a vital role in keeping construction costs manageable and homes affordable for Habitat’s Partner Families. Each adult member of a Partner Family contributes 250 hours of “sweat equity,” working side by side with Habitat staff and volunteers to help build their future home. Upon completion, families purchase the homes through affordable, income-based mortgages.

Marquette County Habitat for Humanity extends a heartfelt thanks to Rainy Creek Construction and GAF for their outstanding support and generosity.
